1. AGREEMENT

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY

NAME] ("Mudeem", "we", "us") governing your use of the Mudeem mobile

application and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you

do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. YOUR ACCOUNT

  - You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

  - You must be at least [AGE] years old, or the age of digital consent

    where you live.

  - You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for

    activity under your account.

  - We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms.

3. USING THE SERVICE

You agree not to:

  - break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights;

  - upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive or

    obscene;

  - impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation;

  - interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised

    access to it;

  - scrape, reverse engineer, or use automated means to access the Service

    beyond normal app use;

  - manipulate Green Points, leaderboards, referrals or any other reward

    mechanic.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

Mudeem offers auto-renewable subscriptions, including SustainaBuddy GPT and

Mudeem Content Creators.

PURCHASE

Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you

confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency

before you buy and may vary by region.

TERM AND RENEWAL

Each subscription renews automatically for the same period - currently

MONTHLY - unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 HOURS BEFORE the end of

the current period. Your account is charged for renewal WITHIN 24 HOURS

BEFORE the current period ends.

MANAGING AND CANCELLING

You manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings, not

in Mudeem:

  iOS

      Settings > your name > Subscriptions

      Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

      https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

Cancelling stops future renewals. YOU KEEP ACCESS UNTIL THE END OF THE

PERIOD YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR. We cannot cancel a store subscription on

your behalf.

FREE TRIALS AND OFFERS

Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, any unused portion is

forfeited when you buy a subscription covering the same content. Unless you

cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically to

a paid subscription at the stated price.

REFUNDS

Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, and refunds are governed by

their policies. Request a refund from the store that took the payment:

We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.

PRICE CHANGES

If we change the price of a subscription, we will tell you in advance. The

change applies from your next renewal, and where the store requires it, your

explicit consent is requested before it takes effect. You may cancel before

the new price applies.

5. GREEN POINTS

Green Points are a loyalty feature of the Service. They:

  - have NO CASH VALUE and are not a currency, credit or property;

  - cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or transferred between accounts;

  - may expire, be adjusted, or be revoked where we reasonably believe they

    were obtained through error, abuse or manipulation;

  - may be changed or discontinued, with reasonable notice where practical.

6. YOUR CONTENT

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a

non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce,

adapt for display and distribute that content FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING

AND PROMOTING THE SERVICE. This licence ends when you delete the content,

except for copies already shared by others or retained in backups.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you post. We may remove

content that breaches these Terms, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly

do so.

7. THE CO2 SCANNER AND OTHER ESTIMATES

The CO2 scanner uses automated image analysis to produce an ESTIMATE.

Estimates, course material and other sustainability information in the

Service are provided for general guidance and awareness only. They are not

scientific measurements or professional advice, and should not be relied on

for regulatory, commercial or compliance purposes.

8. SHOP, ORDERS AND CAR POOLING

================================================================================

Items in the Mudeem shop are subject to availability and to the delivery and

returns terms shown at the time of order.

Car pooling connects users with one another. WE ARE NOT A TRANSPORT PROVIDER

AND ARE NOT A PARTY TO ANY ARRANGEMENT BETWEEN USERS. You are responsible

for your own safety, for holding any required licence and insurance, and for

complying with the law. You use car pooling at your own risk.

9. THIRD PARTY SERVICES

The Service relies on third parties including Apple, Google, RevenueCat,

Cloudinary and OpenAI. Their terms apply to their parts of the service, and

we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

10. AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted

operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and will

give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

11. DISCLAIMERS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and

"AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied,

including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and

non-infringement.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect,

incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of

profits, data or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the

greater of [AMOUNT, e.g. AED 500] or the amount you paid us in the 12 MONTHS

before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. TERMINATION

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may

suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are

required to by law. Terminating your account does not automatically cancel a

store subscription - cancel that in your store account settings as described

in section 4.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the

app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after

that means you accept the updated Terms.

15. GOVERNING LAW

without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where

16. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS

Where you download the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

  - these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not

    responsible for the Service or its content;

  - Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support;

  - if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify

    Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent

    permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation;

  - Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app,

    including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or

    consumer protection claims;

  - Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending or resolving any

    third party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights;

  - Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms

    and may enforce them against you.
